Apply

Thank you for your interest in the Mass General Brigham Emergency Medicine Administration Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

All fellowship candidates must be ABEM board-certified or board-eligible before the July 1 fellowship start date. This generally means that fellows will have completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine in the U.S. or Canada. We regret that we cannot accept applications from candidates who do not meet this criterion.

All application materials below must be received in full before the application deadline of September 15th, at 11:59pm EST. Candidates must apply separately for the Master of Health Care Management program with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health by the December 1 deadline at: www.hsph.harvard.edu/admissions

Please complete the application form and submit the supplemental materials listed below:
1. Curriculum Vitae (CV) and current photo (upload on application form)
2. Personal statement (upload on application form)
3. Three (3) letters of recommendation (via email)
4. In-service/In-training scores (via mail)
5. Medical School transcripts (via mail)

On your curriculum vitae (CV), be sure to include awards, honors, and publications. Please list your research, work, volunteer, and leadership roles with dates (month and year) and the nature of your involvement.

Your personal statement should be limited to one-page and include your career plans. In drafting your personal statement, please consider: What parts of EM Administration interest you and why? Describe a potential scholarly project you might complete during the fellowship. Where do you see yourself in five years?

All three letters of recommendation (one from your current residency program director or chair) should be submitted directly from the recommender by email to Paul Chen at pchen@bwh.harvard.edu and Joshua Baugh at jbaugh@partners.org

Official transcripts and in-service exam scores should be submitted directly from the institution by mail to:
